The other weekend I spent Sunday at RAF Upwood, an abandoned RAF base near Peterborough, on a photo-shoot organised by Alex Beckett. Alex has put together a video of the event, featuring some of the most striking photographs taken.
If you keep your eyes peeled, you might even spot me in a couple of the pictures 🙂
If was pretty surreal – the only two male models were from a folk band, hoping to get some interesting publicity shots… so whilst people were exploring the enormous base, gingerly picking their way through rubble and detritus, there were strains of the violin wafting eerily on the breeze. I tend to say this way too often, but it was just like something out of Fallout 3! 😀
